A Splendid View or How We Found A Wedding Venue

Driving to Cavite with the family caravan when hubby decided to make a pit stop at this site to make a phone call. I had some moments to take in the amazing view as I talked with God, before realizing that this was the site of my wedding!

Then it dawned on me that it was 10 years ago when we found Splendido. I had wanted to get married in a golf course in Tagaytay and was disappointed that a known venue would not allow that. Suddenly, Splendido entered my mind.

“Sa Splendido na lang tayo (Let’s have our wedding in Splendido),” I told Michael. I had never seen Splendido at that point. The last time I was there, it was still under construction.

It must have been God who whispered that to because it turned out that Splendido Golf and Country Club did have a venue that overlooked the golf greens and the surrounding hills.
