Filipino Parenting in the 21st Century by Harold & Darlene Sala

How do you raise good and godly kids in such a time as this?  How do you make sure that your children don’t rebel when they reach their teens? Let’s get some nuggets of wisdom from authors and speakers Harold and Darlene Sala as they share tips from the Bible and from their personal experiences. They frequently travel to the Philippines so they are very familiar with our culture and the challenges we face.

Harold Sala’s program “Guidelines—A Five-Minute Commentary on Living” is currently being  aired on more than 1000 stations around the world in over 15 languages. The Salas have authored and published over 50 books that has been translated in different languages.

I had the chance to interview Harold and Darlene for the 700 Club Asia years ago, long before I’d gotten married. Now I really need their advice! It’ s nice to watch this all over again, with my husband on my side.

Behind the  Scenes:  I had been reading and listening to Harold Sala since I was a baby Christian, way back in the early nineties so it was with great delight that I took on this assignment. Harold and Darlene are very, very gracious and humble people. After the interview, I  I asked to have a picture taken with them. (Fan na fan ang dating, as always!) To my surprise, they got out their own camera and  said they also want a picture taken with me!
