Simple Joys

A morning stroll  made me appreciate  our beautiful neighborhood.

Michael and I love the great outdoors. When we were praying for a house, he specifically asked for one that had a view of the mountains (and little Mishca, too!). Where in Metro Manila could you find one? Well. God is good. He did not only find us a village that overlooked the mountain, He also found a new home that fit our budget.

Five years later, I am still in awe every time I open my bedroom curtains to greet the morning sun.

Last night, Mishca gave me a tight hug and said:” love you, Mom, so much than I love myself.”  Who can now resist when she requests for time in the playground when we are supposed to be homeschooling?

TGIF! Thank God we have the time for simple joys. . .
