So, I receive a personal message from my friend Edel S. Alvarez telling me that she wants to nominate my blog. I am pleasantly surprised. Thanks, Edel! Sometimes I forget that do I have blog. 😉

A few days later I get an email from Ramiel Rivera of The Philippine Bloggy Awards confirming that TMWNN is indeed a nominee. And then, last week another email arrives:

The voting stage is to determine the secondary category winner, which is the “People’s Choice” (The finalists and primary category winners will still come from the Jury’s decisions).

Why did it take a week for me to post this? Well, I am shy to ask for votes, unlike when Michael and I represented the Philippines for the Ultimate Thailand Explorer in 2010. That was for the country, this is, well, for me and the blog. 🙂 I remember total strangers coming up to us, saying that they voted! The coolest was meeting new friends like Leo who was based in Thailand and Amiel, a Pinoy from Vietnam. But that is digressing a bit. . .

If you think that The Mommy With No Nanny deserves your to be recognized in the Bloggys 2015, it would make me happy if you could vote for the blog and let it get some exposure. 🙂

I think you have to have a Facebook account to be able to vote. Wait, let me check. These are the mechanics.

Voting Mechanics:

In order to vote, you need to have a valid: Mobile Number, Email Address, Facebook Account
You can vote for multiple blogs (Just select the nominees that you want to vote).
You can only vote ONCE per section (i.e. If you have already cast votes in Section 1, you can still cast votes for Section 2-5, but not on Section 1).
Creating duplicate Facebook accounts to cast votes is strictly prohibited.
The finalists and winners will be revealed in the gala night, November 21, 2015 at SMX Convention Center, SM Aura Taguig.
