The Mommy With No Nanny

Hi! Thank you for visiting my site.

I’m Jennifer Yap Caspe-Cocuaco or Jenn  as my husband and close friends call me.

I am happiest when I am reading a good book, chatting with friends through the Yahoo Messenger, shopping in Tutuban, eating green mangoes & bagoong, taking pictures with my SLR camera, editing a video segment, eating alone in a resto, snorkeling in Batangas, talking to & about God, being with my gorgeous husband and daughter and taking joy rides to Tagaytay. One of my biggest dreams is to produce, write, direct and host my own TV show. But no,I am not a control freak. I am just a born multi-tasker. Doing a lot things at the same time energizes me.

I want to make God smile and I am passionate about making my life count for Him.

Before I became a wife and a mom, I liked calling myself a dreamer & visionary by night and a magazine writer and TV producer by day. My work has appeared in Good Housekeeping, Lifeline Magazine, Entrepreneur Magazine, YoungStar Magazine, the Philippine Daily Inquirer and Reader’s Digest. I have produced and directed for the TV shows 700 Club Asia and One Cubed, a regional children’s show called Super Kids Club and a documentary show in China called Moving Mountains.

All these had to take a backseat in favor of the most important roles in my life to date– that of being a wife to Michael and mom to Mishca Jadynn. Even before my first-born daughter Mishca was conceived, my husband and I decided that we will raise her up sans a yaya or nanny. We know it won’t be easy but it will be worth it. This website is record of that journey and of the things we discover and learn along the way.

This website is divided into sections:

MOMMY SOLUTIONS  is all about mommying.  Here is where you will find tips on  raising a child, maintaining a household, while looking fit and fabulous.  This is where I will also put my reviews on the organic products, baby things  and everything else related to our daily lives as mothers.

PASSION is where I share my thoughts and reflections about the greatest love of my life –Jesus Christ.  Here you will find articles that came out or will come out at  the Family section of  the  CBN Asia website (CBN Asia is the Christian Broadcasting Network, the producer of the 700 Club Asia & many other shows in the Philippines and beyond).

EVERYDAY BLISS  is a gratitude journal. Our lives can be stressful and harried.  It is wise to slow down and think about even just one thing that we are thankful for. It changes our perspective and makes the daily hassles of life easier to bear.

ARTICLES, which is still under construction because I still have to digitize my published works, is where I will post magazine and newspaper articles that I hope will be helpful to you as  a person, Filipina, Christian, adventurer and career woman.

TV is where you will find video stories  about me, my family, our adventures, plus the shows I’ve done for mainstream media.  This is also where I hope to post  future segments that I plan to host.

TRAVEL  is  my  review of places  that are worth visiting.

PINK PAGES, which is still in the works,  is dedicated to my trusted  mommy and baby stuff suppliers.  I  only feature products and services that I have personally used, tried and am happy about.

REVIEWS & EVENTS is also coming soon to provide you with helpful information about the latest products, gadgets, places and happenings.

This website is a work in progress. I’ve been wanting to launch this since this January but there is a too many  things to collate and organize. I’ve decided to launch it even if some of the sections are still not complete so  please bear with me.

I hope the entries surprise, inspire and encourage you.  Feel free to share your comments.  You can communicate with me through  jennifer_caspe@yahoo.com

Before I end. . .

Just for fun, let  this video serve as  second introduction–
