How to Get Kids to Consume Vegetables by 4-year-old Mishca Jadynn
Happy Chinese New Year!
To start the year right, little Mishca has an advice to kids and parents alike.
Mishca has been heartily eating veggies since she was a toddler. She munches on tomatoes and onions, loves eating celery and swamp cabbage. She wowed the wheat grass vendor (King’s Garden) at the QC Circle at 2 when she drank a shot of fresh wheat grass juice and asked for more!
Mishca wants to show everybody how she downs her kale and banana smoothie. She’s been asking me to film her since last year. She said she wants to encourage kids to love vegetables. So here goes. . .
How to make your GREEN SMOOTHIES: You can use a bunch of kale, cabbage, lettuce or spinach and then add in 2 bananas or some melons or any sweet fruit that your kid likes. We drink this as a family twice a day. Although your children may initially be grossed out by the green color, they will learn to love it because of its sweet taste.
