How To Make White Hair Black Again

I’ve had white hair since I was 21. It was in the middle of  studying for an exam in accounting class  when I first noticed that I had premature grays. I have been coloring my hair since, but pregnancy and nursing a child have stopped me from doing so. I have tried henna and it could not completely cover the grays.  I also  have tried organic hair dye. Still, I feel some itching and burning in my scalp so I stopped. I doubt that anybody can make a truly natural hair dye.

Late last year, I tried these organic cures:

1. Drinking wheat grass daily. According to traditional Chinese medicine, premature graying can be stopped by strengthening the kidneys and blood. Wheat grass, with its high chlorophyll content, is a de-toxifier and blood enhancer.I have not seen the effect on my hair yet, but  it does wonders for one’s digestion. It also helps prevent hyper-acidity and high blood pressure.

2. Applying virgin coconut oil on my hair. I do this before sleeping or a few hours before bathing so that I do not feel oily and icky. VCO is purported to keep hair thick and jet black by strengthening the hair shaft.

Today I read this entry from Jews news:

Turns out I have all the ingredients! (You can buy flaxseed oil at Healthy Options)

Homemade Miracle Drink: It Turns Gray Hair Back to Its Natural Color

  • oz /200 grams of flaxseed oil
  • 4 medium sized lemons
  • 3 small cloves of garlic
  • 2.2 lbs / 1 kg of honey

Method of preparation:

Put the garlic and all the lemons in a blender and mix. Remember to peel just two of the lemons before putting them in a blender. After that, add the flaxseed and honey and mix again. Place the  mixture in a glass bowl and tightly close it with a lid. Keep this mixture in the refrigerator.

How to use it:

Consume one tablespoon of the mixture half an hour before meal. Use wooden spoon only!
It is recommended to consume this mixture three times a day.

I will give it a shot and report if I do see some improvement. Do share if you have tried something that works! I would be glad to hear from you.
