Love Our Stroller Hooks
This evening daddy and I took Mishca on a stroller ride inside the house because she couldn’t sleep after nursing. It was a welcome break actually because we needed exercise. As we were spinning her around the living room, we again marveled at our cheap but trusty Irdy stroller. We bought this light blue stroller at Landmark Department Store in Trinoma for around Php 1,500 a few months before baby was born. We love how compact it is and how easy it glides on any surface. The wheels rotates 360 degrees so it is very easy to navigate.
Another accessory we love is the stroller hooks that we found in True Value’s Saizen. Very, very handy when you don’t have an extra pair of hands with you on a trip to the mall or hospital. We originally wanted to buy Safety First stroller hooks but it didn’t fit the stroller bar, plus the color was off. While we were in Saizen’s Trinoma branch, daddy had the brilliant idea of asking the staff if they carried stroller hooks. After all, he reasoned that the Japanese have a knack for inventing things you don’t know you need! True enough, they have it! And the great thing is they only cost us P85 as everything or almost everything in Saizen costs P85. The Safety First hooks cost a lot more. A pair of hooks can carry a combined weight of around 15 pounds. We only needed one hook to carry our diaper bag but having 2 hooks keeps the bag balanced. Sometimes we’d use the other hook to carry our shopping bags.
A few months ago, we lost one of the hooks. We missed it badly. Finally, last week we had time to buy those all-important stroller accessory. We got the last pair, but this time in yellow. Now there are three hooks on our stroller handle bar.
I hope they restock this one for you. I’m sure they will.
