Baby Carrier Review: Why I Love My SaYa!
I really love my SaYa. I think it’s one of the best things I ever bought for myself and my baby. It gave me a sense of freedom in that I had more confidence in bringing my baby every where. Since I can carry her basically hands-free, it gave me the opportunity to do other things as I am taking care of my
I wish I can give this as a gift to every new mom! Even to every daddy and nanny! In fact, my husband and I bought a second pair of SaYa for him to wear.
Mishca, her SaYa and I have gone a lot of places: to the malls, to church, to the market, to the beach, to airports and airplanes, to almost every where it isn’t illegal to bring a baby. Wherever we go, we get a lot of approving stares and smiles. I also get asked a lot by moms where they can buy it. I sometimes think I should become a SaYa distributor.
Some people frown at using baby carriers because they say it can make the baby bow-legged. I checked this with my pediatrician during Mishca’s early months. She told me it isn’t true. Also since SaYa is made of soft cloth, unlike those bulky imported carriers, it won’t constrict the baby’s legs or hamper development.

Hi mommy jen. What saya baby carrier are you using? Quite confused what to choose from ssk or vtb. Thanks
Hi! 😉
I used both. SSK is nice when you have a newborn. It is soft, breathable and not too bulky. I used it until Mishca was 1 and a half. But when the child is bigger you need better back support so VTB will be helpful. 🙂 VTB is also easier to figure out how to wear. 🙂 Most moms use VTB.
Incidentally I am selling Tiny Tots Baby Carrier (Extreme Sling). It is more affordable at P999. It already comes with a support band. The two cloths are also sewn together so it is easy to wear. No more figuring things out. The fabric is similar to VTB (glossy with spandex). It comes in yummy colors as well. I wish I discovered this when Mishca was smaller, but I plan to use this for the next babies (praying for more!). I tried to put her in when she was 3 and a half and she still fit. 🙂 Kindly view it here: http://bibliorganics.com/store/#!/Tiny-Tots-Baby-Carrier/p/43581287/category=8579299
Thank you for visiting my blog! God bless you and your family, April!
Which is much better Saya or Extreme Sling?
I used the SaYa for my first baby and I am currently using both the SaYa SSK and Extreme Sling for my second. The Extreme Sling is easier to wear because the 2 cloths are stitched together to form an X. Hindi siya nagbubuhol-buhol. Because of this, however, it can be tight for a bigger or chunkier baby. Other than that, I love both. Hope this helps!
I’ve used this product daily for the past 8 months and love it. Total life saver. Worth the price. Thanks
My ssk Saya has also been helpful to me, but I’m frustrated as I don’t know how to wear my baby whilebreasrfeedig and strolling- like you say you were able to. Can you please show me how? On good days, I love my Saya, but on some occasions, I feel it’s the worst invention ever. Help please. Thanks
